(SAC}. Lakshman George Ponnamperuma , the eldest of the 3 Ponnamperuma brothers, later Ph.D from London University & 1st Chairman, CISIR, now Industrial Technology Institute SL, & Technical Adviser, Commonwealth Secretariat, London, was at SAC from 1924-1933, according to a detailed article he contributed to the Aloysian Centenary Souvenir in 1995.
